Life on Mars

Laura uses her signature bold brushstrokes, drips and pours in opaque and translucent layers to produce surfaces that are beautifully textured, sublimely coloured and visually engaging. This striking circular pour painting with a planetary, surreal feel with bold colours and unique effects is one of the three remaining circular paintings in deep-set white frames. Deep reds merge together with copper to create patterns and swirls in the foreground, copper and teal blend together in bands to form the background and contrasted with a yellow sky. As with many of Laura's paintings, this can be rotated and hung to your liking.
