Rooted captures a moment of quiet resilience within the heart of the city. A lone tree stands anchored amid blurred reflections of glass and brick, merging the organic with the constructed. A meditation on persistence and calm within the city’s ever-shifting rhythm.
Created on pure cotton handmade paper, this work is sculpted through layers of archival emulsions and textures applied by hand, forming a tactile surface where image and material merge. Pigment-based inks and hand-applied finishes make each piece one of a kind and truly exceptional. Limited to just nine handcrafted editions, no two are ever identical. Developed over more than two years, this technique allows the work to be displayed without glass, as it is varnished for both physical and UV protection.
