As a photographer in the digital age, David seeks out ways to work beyond the constraints of modern digital imagery. He looks back to the earliest photographic processes and also develops his own alternative ways of producing a photographic image. These include using traditional processes such as cyanotype and gum bichromate and embellishing with water- or oil-gilded gold, silver and copper leaf.
View of the Shard 2 is an archival photographic print on Hahnemuhle William Turner paper using multiple exposures.
